NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION

The Grade School Department celebrated the Nutrition Month Culmination last July 24, 2008 with the theme “Sa Wastong Nutrition ni Mommy, Siguradong Healthy si Baby”. The celebration lasted only in one day as planned.

The activities in the morning were fresh Fruit Salad Making of Grade I to Grade III and Poster Slogan Contest for selected students in Grade IV to VI. In the afternoon was the Jingle Contest which were participated all Grade levels with the following categories:

		Category A -  	Grade I – Genesis
 				Grade I – Exodus, 
 				selected students of Grade II and Grade III 
		Category B -  	Grade IV – Matthew
				Grade IV – Mark
 				selected students of Grade V and VI
 

Through this activity, the students have shown their talents and abilities in composing jingles that were related to the Nutrition Month celebration.

Students were also informed with the benefits of good nutrition through a Powerpoint presentation which was explained by Ms. Norven B. Lagura, Makabayan V Teacher.

The program ended through giving of awards and certificates.
